トリノのG・ヴェルディ国立音楽院を最優秀成績で卒業。1998年ウィーン国立音楽大学に入学し、多くの国立及び国際コンクールで優勝。2003年、同大学のプロジェクトにより来日後は、徳島文理大学音楽部准教授、また2005年よりアンサンブル神戸首席コンサートマスター、その他、大阪フィル、オーケストラ・アンサンブル金沢、兵庫芸術文化センター管弦楽団などに客員コンサートマスターとしてゲスト出演。神戸市にて「Harmonia Kobe ハルモニア音楽アカデミー」（現在はヴァイオリン教室）を主宰。
Mauro Iurato graduated from the Turin Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi as one of the most outstanding students. In 1998, he was admitted into the University of Music and Performing Arts of Vienna. He has attended and won several national and international competitions. In 2003, Mauro Iurato came to Japan through a project of his university. He used to be an associate professor of the Faculty of Music, Tokushima Bunri University. Since 2005, he has been the first concertmaster of the Ensemble Kobe. He regularly performs as a guest concertmaster of the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa and the HPAC (Hyogo Performing Art Center) Symphony Orchestra. Mauro Iurato is the founder of “Harmonia Kobe”, an international violin school based in Kobe.
